An evolutionary modification of the Toyota Hilux acquired by the Czech Army will be presented at IDET 2023 Fair by Glomex MS. To improve its ability to traverse very difficult terrain, the Toyota Hilux Chamois has a 50 mm higher chassis, larger wheels with 315x70R17 tyres, wider mudguards and a chassis protected by aluminium plates. The vehicle is also equipped with a blackout system for the use of NATO-compliant night vision devices. Standard features include an aluminium hard top equipped with 5 universal long gun mounts, a front protective bullbar, a removable hitch and an electric winch with a maximum towing capacity of 4536 kg and a 25 m towing rope. The Toyota Hilux Chamois has successfully passed military tests at the Military Technical Institute Vyškov in recent months.
